Fire Rated for 1-Hour Walls
E-Z Fire Tape has passed the full scale tests* for one-hour fire rated, vertically or horizontally hung wall systems, on both wood and steel stud construction with fire rated gypsum board. E-Z Fire Tape is not rated for ceilings.
E-Z Fire Tape has been rated for use in Fire Wall construction in Canada by Intertek Testing Service since 2002.
Tested to meet UBC Standard 7-1-1994, ASTM E119,
CAN/ULC-S101, NFPA 251 and UL 263 procedures. The test assembly was conducted according to both U 465 and GA 1200 design. Listed by ICC Evaluation Services, Inc. Report ESR-1231

E-Z Fire Tape is listed by Warnock Hersey for two-hour fire rated, vertically or horizontally hung wall systems, on both wood and steel stud construction with fire rated gypsum board. E-Z Fire Tape is not rated for ceilings.
The listing is based on tests that were conducted to meet UBC Standard 7-1-1994, ASTM E119, CAN/ULC-S101, NFPA 251 and
U 263 procedures. The test assembly was constructed according to both U 465 and GA 1200 design
