The Permatex Low VOC Gasket Remover is an aerosol product designed to remove gaskets and gasket residue from any type of metal or plastic housing. The product will also remove chemical formed-in-place gaskets. The Permatex Gasket Remover is a safe alternative to the harsh, chlorinated and brominated solvents found in many of today’s standard gasket removing chemicals. Quickly removes all solvent-based gasketing adhesives and sealants, even baked-on gaskets. Use to remove gasket from any flange material in 15-20 minutes. Prepares flanges for new gasket. Gasket Remover reduces scraping and grinding – eliminating potential damage to flanges. VOC compliant. NOTE: This product is not recommended for use on silicone gasket residue.

Suggested Applications: Use for all solvent-based gasketing, anaerobic gasketing and gasket sealant products. Use to remove Permatex Form-A-Gasket, Spray-A-Gasket, Indian Head, High-Tack, Tack & Seal and Super High Tack gasketing products. This Gasket Remover is NOT recommended for silicone gaskets (use Permatex Silicone Stripper).
