The EZRip makes scoring drywall extremely simple, and gives you the most precise measurement possible in the shortest amount of time. No more using your thumb as a guide or snapping a very long chalk line; because EZRip conveniently combines measuring, marking, and scoring into one quick and easy operation with additional storage for 10 drywall blades.
With the EZRip you can choose from four scales, allowing you to measure off the amount you keep or the amount you cut. Once the measurement has been set, the EZRip can be quickly drawn across the drywall panel for a clean, accurate cut.
Choosing the Right Scale
Select the black scales to make long WIDTH "rips"; or select the red scales to cut the LENGTH. For example, use the black scales to rip panels up to 4-feet; or use the red scales to remove up to 24 inches from either 8 or 12-foot panels. The red scales are particularly handy for those situations where a drywall T-square would otherwise be awkward or impractical to use. For instance, using the 8-foot scale for quickly SHORTING a narrow "rip", can be a real time saver.
